It’s about how corporations associate with activism to improve their bottom dollar – which isn’t necessarily bad in itself, partly depending on how genuine the sponsorship and activism is (although the story suggests the sponsorship is cynical). The article isn’t a critique of activism – however, as the image suggests, some activism may be more about show than cause; more social and noise than effect. And in a portion of that, you can even throw in jobs, or at least some paid work.
